Hello!

If you are reading this there is a good chance you are either pregnant, hoping to become pregnant, or have someone close to you that is. Congratulations! This is a life changing time and I am here to support you through your transition.

Evidence shows that births with doula support tend to go smoother and lead to less interventions.

What is a doula? In a nutshell a doula is a non-medical support person. Your doula will meet with you before the birth to help you prepare and answer any questions you may have. They will be there during the birth to support you, and will meet with you again once you are home with your new baby to support your adjustment to your new family member.

The doctors and midwives can not always be by your side to insure you are feeling confident and as comfortable as possible because they are busy with the medical side of things, your doula will be by your side the whole time and the main concern for them is your mental and physical comfort.
